8am departure today... So of course we actually didn't leave until 9! The decision to fill out the car with rubbish (like the mattress) backfired as we then couldn't properly pack all the last minute items and so they were all stuffed anywhere.

We stopped at what goggle maps showed as a waste management centre, only to discover our was just a reviving plant. Luckily there was a skip nearby, and the 10 minute detour proved a success.
We carried on, driving on to Torquay in the pouring rain. We'd been looking fire a wrist strap attachment for dougs go pro camera for a Weller, Melbourne didn't have any so surf city surely would. Having traipsed the shops we eventually gave in and did their UN manly thing of asking. 2 minutes later, we were back on route, attachment in hand.
Quick stop at Eagle rock (thanks google goggles for letting me know what that was!) And we were stuck behind inconsiderate tourists going dead slow along the great ocean road. Avoiding the inevitable road rage meant stopping in Lorne for lunch and some of the best pains ever with great fresh juices. Good one Moons, highly recommend if your going through!
