It's been decided that Doug and I will both be posting blog entries. Sometime this means we will over lap on the stories or descriptions. We think this is going to be highly entertaining as you get to see what is happening from 2 very different perspectives. Hopefully the Blog titles will explain it all - such as which day of the travels we are on. Time has a funny way of playing on the mind, so we're not really sure which day of the week it is now we're out of work (some might argue we didn't even while we were at work) - so bear with us if its a little jumbled.
Also - the spelling is gonna be terrible..... we're not english language specialists and I will frequently use words which sound clever but are only correct in my head (some of you will have been privy to the many 'discussions' regarding whether I'm using the correct word!) Hang in there, and remember most of what we're typing in on a smartphone, while sat in the front seat of a wildly bucking car.

As we suspected at some point during the trip internet access would drop off...this time has arrived.
